New route into Newcastle from Monday 17 November

Go North East is rerouting its buses away from Dean Street in Newcastle City Centre from Monday 17 November.
Northbound journeys on 'Red Arrows' and 'West Durham Swift' services will enter Newcastle via Tyne Bridge, John Dobson Street, Blackett Street, terminating in Eldon Square.
Southbound journeys will remain unchanged.
Go North East and the City Council have agreed to work together on a joint examination into bus delay points within the city centre over the coming months in order to find and implement solutions to traffic problems affecting bus safety and reliability.
The change from Monday 17 November effects northbound journeys only for the following services –
Red Arrows X1-X3 From Easington Lane, Sunderland & Houghton-le-Spring to Newcastle via Washington
West Durham Swift X30/X31 From Lanchester and Stanley to Newcastle via Gateshead
West Durham Swift 70/X70/X71 From Consett to Newcastle via Gateshead
